Markon Solutions Wins DIA FAC Recompete

Markon Will Continue to Provide Technical Project Management Support for the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Facilities

Markon Solutions (Markon) has been awarded a five-year contract to provide technical project management for Facilities and Installations by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA FAC).

Markon’s support to DIA FAC began in 2010 as the Program Management Office for ICC-B in Bethesda. In 2011, the company’s service to FAC was expanded with Program Management and other related services contract.

Starting in 2012, FAC requested that Markon add additional resources to support the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Reston, and National Media Exploitation Center.

With the Technical Services Contract award in 2015, Markon collaborated with FAC leadership to envision a new customer-focused facilities management team based on sound program management principles.

“It is an honor and privilege to be supporting DIA's Global Facilities Mission for the next 5 years,” said Markon Vice President Matthew Slingwine. “We have great respect for DIA's outstanding Facilities Leadership who have allowed Markon to successfully support by implementing innovative processes and the highest levels of talent. This opportunity will continue Markon's effort to apply industry best practices across the Intelligence Community (IC) in the quest to advance the overall IC Facility Mission.”

Markon will continue its partnership with Lumiose, North Arrow and IT Veterans.
