Integrating the Information Technology Government Contractor Expands Markon’s Capabilities, as well as Client & Partner Relationships
Markon Solutions (Markon) announced today that it acquired Armatus Solutions (Armatus) — a small government contracting firm that provides systems engineering, information technology professional services, and related support to the Intelligence Community. The acquisition of Armatus by Markon represents the joining of two like-minded organizations resulting in a powerhouse of the best talent, innovative processes, and integrated professional services in the industry.
Due to the collaborative approach taken by the two companies, this acquisition will be largely transparent to Armatus customers and employees. Customers should expect no noticeable change in personnel, service, or support, as Armatus team members will continue to support their clients’ missions under the Markon brand with minimal change to day-to-day operations, and Armatus support commitments will be honored.
This acquisition has many benefits to both Markon and Armatus, but the four main business cases are: adding outstanding new team members to Markon; supporting Markon’s growth goals; expanding Markon’s work with existing customers and furthering existing partner relationships; and bolstering Markon’s growing enterprise IT solution.

Rock Hall Partners LLC was the exclusive sell-side advisor to Armatus. This is Markon’s first acquisition after a three-year program to source and evaluate companies of Armatus Solutions’ size. Markon also worked with Aronson and Greenberg Traurig as part of the buyer team.
